Thank you for keeping me on edge, guessing your next move.

Thank you for giving me only a fraction of what I gave you.

Thank you for being a coward when I thought you were brave.

But enough thanks, I wouldn’t want to inflate your ego any further.

I genuinely mean it, thank you from the depths of my heart.

Thank you for leaving me to gather the shattered pieces of myself you left behind.

It was not an easy task finding and piecing them back together, with my own bare hands.

Challenging, indeed, but never impossible.

One of the most difficult experiences I’ve embarked on, not physically, but emotionally.

And it was through you that I uncovered a hidden part of myself, and for that, I’m grateful.

I apologize for unintentionally inflating your ego once again.

My sole intention is to express my profound gratitude.

Without you, I wouldn’t have discovered this new and improved iteration of myself.

Let’s call it Version 2.0 or 3.0.

Sadly, you’ll never get to see this version,

Although I doubt you’d appreciate it as it diverges from what you’re used to.

It’s crafted for my liking, not yours.

This version is undeniably badass, which I absolutely adore.

Simple, you were the fertilizer the rose needed to bloom.

Finally, she’s strong enough to establish her own rules, no longer waiting for empty promises.

Promises that remained unfulfilled.

Your selfish actions made it clear you were never fully committed.

You were never my Mario, and I was never meant to be Peach.

You settled for silver when you possessed a freaking diamond.

A gem far more valuable than what you recognized.

Forever grateful for guiding me to realize my own brilliance.

I shine as a diamond, exuding a unique radiance.

And for that, I thank you 🙂
