Let’s Be Thankful!!!
We have a lot to be thankful for; waking up each morning, every breath we take, the ability to speak and walk, family and friends, being healthy and the list goes on. Often we overlook the simple things in life thinking they always will be there, not knowing that they can easily disappear when we least expect it. Only then, is when we come to really appreciate the things we no longer have and cannot regain.
It is important to make God (if you are religious) and the Universe aware of how much we appreciate everything we have. Many wish for the things we take for granted and would do anything to have. On this Thanksgiving, I want you to take a few minutes to give thanks for the things you are grateful for.

Tick-tock, tick-tock, tick-tock, the fast ticking sound of the clock gradually invades my mind as each second pass by.
Patiently I sit in front and watch the hands of the clock go from one number to the other.
It wouldn’t stop telling time, doesn’t matter how much I want it to stop.
Instead, the hands of the clock keep moving faster and faster, showing no sign of stopping or slowing anytime soon.
As sudden as lightning seconds become minutes, minutes become hours, hours become days, days become weeks, weeks become months, and before I know it months become years.
Then I wonder to where did the time go, as I’m still sitting in the same place watching the hands go around in circular motion countless of times.
Like a splash of cold water, I soon realized I’ve fallen behind meanwhile time has gone way ahead.
I desperately want to catch-up, but that seems impossible bringing indignation.
Following by a great need to want to smash the damn thing so that it stop reminding me of the time I have wasted doing nothing.
What good will it do if the clock tell time no more? No good at all, even if the clock is broken time will continue to pass regardless.
Dwelling on the wasted time wouldn’t rewind it instead focus on the time you have now because it is the only time you are guarantee.
We squander so much time procrastinating that we vaguely realize exactly how much time we have wasted doing nothing. No time machine or remote control would ever rewind or pause time if that was the case time would be not valuable. Time is one of those things that is very limited when it might seem otherwise. Once gone it can never be regained. It is human nature to leave everything for later, tomorrow or when one feels the time is right, which at the end is never right. Then I ask you, why wait for tomorrow or when you feel the moment is right? Tomorrow is just a promise with no guarantee. Right now is the only thing we have guaranteed, not a minute more or less.
Recently, I have been thinking much about time and how much we tend to waste it. I’m guilty of procrastinating often thinking I have all the time in the world in my hand when that is not the case. Soon I realized I hadn’t done anything of whatever I wanted to do contemplating for the right moment to come. Then time has passed what it feels like a hundred miles per hour and yet nothing has been accomplished. If there is something you want to do but haven’t done, I encourage you to do it now and stop wasting any more time. You can invest the time you put into waiting into perfecting whatever is that you want to do. Time will go on no matter what, so it is our responsibility to take advantage of the time we have on hand before it slips away.

Smile you are great!
I can’t believe summer is coming to an end. Days are becoming shorter plus a cold breeze roams the air at night. I wish summer would last forever here on the East Coast, instead of just three months out of the twelve months. If you ask me, that’s not enough time to wear cute summer clothes.
I’m a sucker for silky and flowing clothes. Recently, rompers have become my obsession. Rompers are like Superman ready to the rescue! Lol. When you can’t put together an outfit even if your life depended on it, a romper is there to solve the problem. You can wear it with booties, sneakers or sandals, and be out of the door as easy as 1- 2- 3.
The short length romper I’m wearing is from Nordstrom Rack, which can be either dress up or down. For the look, I decided to go for something in between casual and formal. The booties are from Century 21, which I got approximately two years ago on sale. Both the romper and the booties complement each other nicely, both being from the pastels color family.
